Maryland Public Interest Research Group (MaryPIRG) is an independent non-partisan and non-profit organization that is student run and student funded. Every semester we run 4-6 different campaigns that are meant to tackle and reflect the concerns of students. This semester, we are running 5 different campaigns (1) Zero Hunger (2) Affordable Textbooks (3) Fossil Free UMD (4) Juvenile Justice and Prison Reform (5) Campus Working Conditions.
