You do NOT need to complete your plan before your advising appointment. However, your plan must be completed AND approved BEFORE your mandatory advising block can be removed. You should submit your plan at least 1-2 weeks before your registration window opens so there is ample time for it to be reviewed, and revisions made, if needed.
