Hope is beginning several focused planning steps together to better understand what our space needs will be in a future, reimagined built-environment. Our work together is always about promoting Hope’s mission and ministries. This is the early, visioning stage in the process. We are not thinking specifically about carpet, hardwood or tile floors; nor worship seating; nor specific kitchen equipment. We are focused on mission and how space can be a vehicle to advance ministry; what nimble spaces will allow Hope to meet the unknow needs of the future?
At the recommendation of other ELCA Lutheran churches in the area, we are working with the architecture firm, Corkill, Cush, Reeves Architects (
https://ccrarchitects.com/). They are guiding us in this process. Hope’s Council has additionally commissioned a team of 11 Hope and Humble Walk leaders to work directly with this hired, professional team.
Thank you for taking time to answer questions relating to Hope and Humble Walk, our current space use, and our future ministry space needs. Please answer as many or few of the below questions as simply or thoroughly as you wish.
