AMSA Blog Team Project Application
Hey everyone! PLEASE READ THE BLURB BEFORE COMPLETING THE FORM!

This form is for UMD students interested in joining the UMD American Medical Student's Association's (AMSA) blog project; you do not need to officially be part of AMSA to apply. Participating in the development of this project for the rest of the semester will fulfill AMSA's project requirement. The quality, style, and thoughtfulness of your writing for all the prompts/questions are super important. For each response, please write about around ~200 words, unless specified otherwise :D

To be an active blog member (able to be considered for leadership positions), members will have to complete:

1. At least one GBM or hangout recap a semester
3. Attend a majority (>50%) of our weekly editorial meetings (where we will have fun writing exercises + activities and edit each other's recaps/work/ideas) from after the date you join the blog
4. Contribute a original creative piece for a social point (ter.ps/blogfreelanc)

Another major perk ~ we will be hosting a pre-med narrative + resume polishing workshop for blog members. It will feature a sample early-decision medical school application that members will use to practice and reflect on what their medical school narrative/application still needs work on.

Thank you for your interest! You can reach out to us at umdamsa.thescribe@gmail.com. Please also visit our developing website @ thescribeumd.home.blog.
