Please record a video of yourself responding to ONE of the following prompts:
1) Tell us about your favorite place in your hometown.
2) Tell us about an embarrassing moment.
3) What would you do if you were Testudo for the day?
4) Tell us about your best friend.
● Your video should be approximately 40-60 seconds long.
● Videos longer than 60 seconds WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
● After you record it, please save the video file as "[First and Last Name] Images Application Video" (ex: "Emilia Ascanio Images Application Video")

● Hit submit
● If your video uploads successfully, you will see a check mark on your screen and a message stating that your file has been uploaded. If you do not see this, try to submit again or contact us at
mdimages@umd.edu and we can confirm for you. PLEASE NOTE: Technical difficulties during the last hour of the application period are not a valid excuse for failing to submit your application on time.
When reviewing your video, we are looking for a number of qualities that we value in our organization. Please keep these characteristics in mind when recording your response.

● Storytelling ability
Please have fun with this video! There are many different approaches you can take -- some people simply answer the question in their room while others take a more creative route, so feel free to make it your own. Also, please refrain from reading off of a script. We want to see your natural speaking and storytelling ability.
Notice that "Video Editing" and "High Production Value" are NOT qualities we are looking for in a video. Most videos are filmed from a phone or laptop. Feel free to do this if you wish, but it will not be a criteria by which you do or do not move onto the next round.
